Cotswolds 2016 Single Cask PS
Made with 100% locally grown barley from the Cotswolds, this limited edition single malt whisky was matured in a single Sherry (Oloroso Spanish Oak) cask. Filled on the 9th of May 2018 and aged full-term at our distillery in the Cotswolds, we bottled this expression on-site at 55% ABV.
This Spanish Oak Hogshead barrel was seasoned with Oloroso sherry, characterised by woody and soft, ripe fruity aromas. The soft and porous oak encourages interaction between spirit and cask. The more open grain allows the whisky to travel deeper into the wood, drawing out rich and intense flavours and a beautiful natural colour. Each bottle comes beautifully presented in a luxury display carton.
