Mortlach 12 Year Old
Mortlach was the first distillery built around the town of Dufftown in 1823. Mortlach uses a special distillation method. When all the distillates of the different spirit stills are distilled in their own special way, they are mixed with each other. Then the new spirit is filled before maturation in both Sherry, Bourbon and refill barrels. This 12 year old Mortlach Single Malt that combines whisky matured in both Bourbon and Sherry casks is a success and combines the best of both worlds.
