In 2016, Gordon & MacPhail bottled this very fine Balblair. The maturation in refill bourbon barrels brings out the fresh, fruity distillery character beautifully. Moreover, it is much richer and more complex than you would expect from a 10-year-old whisky. Fresh fruit, sweetness, spice, chocolate; many flavours come through and nicely layered too. A delicious dram and an asset to any aficionado.
