Balblair 15 Year Old
The relaunch of Balblair's core range in early 2019 saw the distillery say "So long!" to vintages and "Hello there!" to age statements. This resulted in this 15 Year Old Balblair, which is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before being moved over to first-fill Spanish oak butts. Aroma: Leatherwood honey and spicy gingerbread followed by juicy prunes and fresh lemon peel. Palate: Velvety in texture, bursting with dark choclate, tropical fruit and spices. Finish: Long and mellow with notes of creamy vanilla and citrus.
